So much has happened in just 2 days of school! Okay, not really. It’s just that I’m still on vacation mode. Sadly, vacation’s over, and I have so much projects and papers to do. AAAAHHHH. Anyway…
As a new year’s resolution, I shall have a to-do list for each day, and as much as possible, follow a timetable. I have been doing that since yesterday, and truthfully, it’s a big big help. Besides feeling ever so organized, it lifts up my mood because it feels so much better once I see all the ticks on the list. On top of that, I am able to squeeze in a little bit of pampering sessions here and there, and lunch/dinner get-togethers with friends even during the busiest days of my week (such as today HAHA). –> And oh yes, you have to try Zoya nail polish! dries up super fast, plus the colors are very pretty. I’m wearing Zoya nail polish on my fingernails now… will see if they last long.
There’s so much cleaning and unpacking that I have to do for tonight. So I guess this is it for the nonce. Won’t be able to update as much anymore though.. school’s buzzing.
Will definitely get a message or have retail therapy within the week. Good night!

*decided to re-post the picture since sequins make this entry quite festive– it’s a new year!
recap
slice of 2009:

hello 2010!
*thinking about putting a header… i think it’s high time that i make one
adieu 2009!
Yes, it’s already the 2nd of January, but I never got the chance to post any year-ending entry due to the lack of internet access, plus all the stupid but diverting things (besides sleeping and eating) my cousins and I have been doing. My family and I spent New Year’s Eve at my grandmother’s house, along with my mom’s siblings and their families– this is a tradition I look forward to every year.
Anyway, will post about that and my fleeting but blissful Chrismas break soon.

2009 was a memorable year for me, and I have a lot of people to thank.
My awesome friends

*there are a lot more pictures i want to post, so i’ll do it next time
For a few months, right after my sister graduated, I lived alone in Xanland, wishing that I would have even just a dog to accompany me every night. If not because of my friends, I wouldn’t have stayed sane, being alone all the time. They’re just a call/text/IM/tweet away. Sometimes, I don’t even have to contact them. They just suddenly show up bringing food, the latest gossip(haha), or just their big smiles and tight hugs. They’re very spontaneous, and I love how most of us have that in common. 2009 was a year of booze, surprises, adventures, and hysterics for all of us.
To all of my friends: I want to thank you guys for always inviting me to your dorm parties and night-outs. Now I know who my real friends are.
Thank you for always being there for me, and never failing to put me in my best mood. Thank you for compromising just to meet my needs (no meat, smoke, sun-haha!). Thank you for keeping up with my constant nagging about certain things. Thank you for still being my friends despite the long distance. Thank you for being so understanding and caring. Thank you for being yourselves! I’m quite lucky to have you guys around me the whole 2009. I wouldn’t have survived the year without the late movie/study/drinking nights, the surprises, the pigging out sessions, the pampering days (hello jovski), the jokes, the road trips, and most of all, the friendships. STUBUS family

My BESTest friends. I’m glad I have you guys as my closest friends. Nothing beats our late night bonding sessions. It is always the perfect way to de-stress, and express whatever. You guys knew how rocky 2009 was for me, and I’m thankful and glad you were there with me through it all.

My family
Every long break, I always look forward to spending time with my cousins, titos, titas, etc. I want to thank them for being such pleasant distractions from all the crazy schoolwork waiting for me in Manila. Being surrounded with such happy and great people inspired me to do well in school, and be a biddable sister and daughter the whole 2009.

Yes, for everyone who’s been asking whether we fight or not, we do. But that’s what binds us together. We have a lot of differences, but we love each other, and I don’t really know how I’d survive college without her on my back. Most of 2009 I lived with her, and I can’t imagine how boring, LIFELESS, ho-hum it would’ve been without her– all the shopping sprees, restaurant hopping, midnight food deliveries, birthday surprises, club 1709 nights, and a whole lot more! She’s the big sister any kid would ask for. I love her to bits, and nothing will ever change that. ILY teng!

Parents
my favorite but super over-used family picture
They are the COOLest, AWESOMEst, BEST parents ever. Most teens may despise the daily calls of their parents which they have to answer, but I love it. That’s because they seldom get mad at us. I tell them what I’m doing and where I’m at all the time, and they’re always fine with it. They trust me so much, and I love them for that. They help me stay awake during hell nights by texting or calling every few minutes (haha). When I get so bored during classes, my dad’s my instant textmate. When I just want to talk to anyone in any time of the day, my mom’s my instant phone pal.
They encourage me during presentations. They cheer me up everytime I have problems, whether with school or friends. They always ALWAYS give me the right guidance in every decision I make. This is how I realized that parents know best. Despite the occasional scolding, I always feel loved and cared for.
A lot of things happened to me during 2009, and I’m glad all these people were with me. You guys helped me make it through. I love you!
P.S. To all my readers, thank you for keeping my blog stats high. I appreciate the precious time you spend reading my blog

I LOVE YOU POPS!
I’ve been spending most of the break either on the road, or at the province. It’s the holidays anyway, so I’d rather spend it with my family. I’ve got one more week to hang loose, but it looks like I won’t get any chance to go to the beach. Nonetheless, there are a number of dinners/parties with my friends lined up for the coming days! I’m excited.
quick post
merry christmas everyone!

Thanks to my dear sister, I am able to blog, tweet, and log in to fb right now. But this won’t last long.
Anyway, I want to greet everyone a happy happy christmas! There was no mobile signal in the mountains, and we’ve been staying there since last night until a few hours ago. We just got back from the feeding program, which is why I’m pretty exhausted. (more about this soon)

one of my favorite people:

my favorite shades from Mango got broken…
people are so stubborn. I didn’t get any apology from the person who hit my head, which caused my shades to fall and break into pieces. Oh well.
Will have no internet, even mobile signal (maybe) for more or less 36 hours! Will be spending Christmas eve and day in the mountains
Merry Christmas everyone! Enjoy the holidays
